Chennedy Carter, born November 14, 1998, is an American professional basketball player who was drafted by the Atlanta Dream with the fourth overall pick in the first round of the 2020 WNBA Draft. Carter played college basketball for the Texas A&M Aggies, where she was a two-time All-American and led the team to the 2019 NCAA Tournament Elite Eight.

Carter is a 5'9" guard who is known for her athleticism, quickness, and scoring ability. She is also a good defender and rebounder. In her junior season at Texas A&M, Carter averaged 22.5 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game. She was named the SEC Player of the Year and was a consensus first-team All-American.

Carter is expected to make an immediate impact for the Dream. She is a talented player who has the potential to be a star in the WNBA. Carter is also a role model for young girls, and she is dedicated to giving back to her community.
